Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

casa

The legal team at Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark is a proud supporter of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Morris and Sussex Counties. CASA is a private, non-profit organization that allows adults to act as volunteers who advocate for neglected and abused children who have been removed from their homes and placed in foster care. These dedicated volunteers are proud to act as advocates for the children until they find their forever homes. Laurie Newmark serves on the CASA Board of Trustees.

Volunteers for CASA are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, help them obtain the services they need, and try to ensure that they are placed in a permanent, safe, nurturing home as quickly as possible. The donations made by TTN have directly supported the CASA program to train and supervise volunteers. Additionally, they help support the Fostering Futures Program, which aims to prepare youth for independent living before they age-out of the foster care system.
