Julie A. Rich, Esq. joined Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark, L.L.C. in August 2017. Ms. Rich received her Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Religion in Society magna cum laude from Syracuse University in 2011. Ms. Rich received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2014. While at Seton Hall, she interned with the Essex-Newark Legal Services Family Law Unit. She also served as Treasurer to the Women’s Law Society and Secretary and later President to the Family Law Society. In her third year of law school, Ms. Rich was chosen to act as a student attorney within Seton Hall’s Center for Social Justice, Family Law Clinic in which she spent a semester representing indigent clients.
Upon graduation from Seton Hall, Ms. Rich served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Marcia L. Silva, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, Family Part. Since graduating law school, Ms. Rich’s work has been focused entirely on family and matrimonial law matters.
When not practicing law, Ms. Rich can often be found watching or attending Yankee games. She is a huge baseball fan and hopes to someday visit all of the Major League Baseball stadiums in the United States.
